Bishop's Stortford Means Business
A full four-page rebuild for a UK local business network, keeping real event data intact through the move.
The existing site was dated and made it hard to keep event listings current.
Rebuilt as a clean four-page static site, carrying over real event data rather than placeholder content.
A current, easy to maintain site that reflects the network's actual activity.
Bishop's Stortford Means Business is a local business network, and its site's main job is simple: tell members and prospective members what's happening and when. The previous site made that harder than it needed to be, with an outdated structure that discouraged regular updates.
We rebuilt it as a clean four-page site, home, about, events and contact, and made a point of carrying over the network's real, existing event data rather than launching with placeholder content that would need replacing later. That mattered for a local organisation whose credibility depends on the site looking current from day one.
The result is a lightweight, easy to maintain site that actually gets updated, rather than a heavier build that looks impressive on launch day and goes stale within a few months.
